Admire Chinchero, located in the beautiful plains north west of Cusco, famous for its hand-made fabric; enjoy Moray a very interesting agricultural center unique to this part of Peru, walk through the salt pans of Maras where people have been extracting salt for hundreds of years, ending your day with a delicious picnic lunch.
Program itinerary
Day 1: Cusco-Chinchero-Moray-Maras
Pick up from your hotel, for an scenic drive to Chinchero, once in Chinchero we visit a local home to have a live demostration on traditional andean textiles hosted by a local chinchero family, afterwards visit to the site of Moray taking a short walk to see this millenary green house built by the inca hundreds of years ago, ending the day driving to Maras.Middle afternoon drive back to Cusco, on arrival transfer to your hotel.(Picnic-Lunch)
